That time of year....

Makin' lots of Christmas gifts and cards already :)
I swore last year (and the many years before that) that I was going to start "earlier next year"! Well, this year I have! I wish I could say it was because I planned it this way, but it's not! Due to major life changing health issues, I was forced to leave my job, which gave me more time to craft! I know, some are saying, "Why are you complaining? You get to stay home and craft"! It's not that easy. I loved my job, I loved providing for my family, I loved crafting at night after everyone went to bed....It's hard for me to do it during the day. There is always something else needing done. I don't know the last time I got "dressed up" or wore any makeup....Definitely have let myself go. I'm just tired....tired of fighting....tired of no answers....tired of my hopes getting up and then coming down....tired of it all!

Here is a list to give a wide variety of ideas....
I have lots of items on hand. Cards usually run $3.25 each. If you are wanting a specific card for a specific occasion I can usually have them done in 24 hrs.
Obviously each item takes time to create but I will give you an approx. time frame so that you know what to expect :)

Crafty Weekend....

I've been pretty behind on posting on here :( I need to stay on top of it, and I'll be working on that. You would think with as much time as I have to spend indoors, that it would be easy to stay on top of my blog, but believe it or not...it's not that easy!

Here are few cards I recently made.

This one is for a fellow employee who was leaving after 7 years. We are sure gonna miss her! I made this card and all of us signed it. This image is a Tiddly Inks called: Wryn - Grow a Little Love. I just love this image :) 

Here is another card I made. This is a Saturated Canary image. I really love this image, however I don't really like the way the card came out.

Odd's & End's

Here are some crafts I've made recently :)
This is a set of coasters I made for my boss for his birthday! It was super easy....I bought the coaster box and painted it, painted the coasters & then on my Silhouette I cut out the "R" for their last name! He thought they were great! 

These are clothes pins I made for some people I work with! They loved them!
I painted the clothes pins, and added designer paper and modge podge on top. Then I just added some flowers & embellishments! 

These are some magnets I made for a family member's magnet calender I made. These magnets are also super easy to make....and a great gift :)
I bought the glass circles. I cut a picture or piece of designer paper out and glued it to the bottom of the glass circle and then glued a magnet to that.

Baby Shower Invitations

I was asked by a co-worker to make some baby shower invitations for a  baby shower she is hosting. So, I got right to work! I came up with 3 cute invitations. She forgot to inform me that they had a specific theme for the baby shower, so the 3 that I first made weren't going to work.
Here is a picture of those 3:

So, back to the drawing board I went. Now that I know of the theme, "April Showers...bring June babies". April showers brought to mind rain and a umbrella. Babies bring to mind soft colors. Here is the final invitation..I've been diligently working on 27 invitations :)

Stampin' Up Card

These are 2 cards I made recently with my new Stampin' Up stamps I got from Ebay. Oh my gosh...I love these stamps :) I've never owned more than just a few odd's and end's Stampin' Up stamps, until now. I decided to try and sell some of my "old" scrapbooking items on Ebay. I basically just wanted to know how the selling part went. So....within the first 1.5 hrs, almost everything I had posted, sold. I was super excited! With the $$ from that I bought the kids some jeans & shirts and then I bought my hubby some Fox brand shirts & sweatshirt. With the remainder I bought some scrapbooking/card making supplies off Ebay.

Vintage Card

I made this vintage card from the inspiration of some newly met people off YouTube. They have amazing video's and they've really helped me step out of my box of wanting everything to "match". I've always wanted to try the vintage style but couldn't bring myself to do it.....Ha Ha.....Now I have :)

The paper I used is from Graphic 45. The ribbon is from American Crafts and it's called brown sugar. I inked the edges on the designer paper that has the lady's on it with Chestnut Roan by Color Box. The button is from My Mind's Eye. The push pin's are from My Minds Eye.


                                                           

Decorative Box

I've seen lots of people make different style of boxes. I have the hardest time with these for some reason! So, I decided to step out of the box, and give it try. This is my final product :)
The paper I used from My Minds Eye and it's the Lost & Found series. I used eyelash ribbon around the edge and some heart stick pins to accent it some.

Love is in the air.....

Usually I don't make a large amount of Valentine cards to send out. When the kids were younger we made their class valentine's and their valentine box's. They are still in school but valentine parties aren't like they used to be. So, this year I decided to make a few more cards to send out. This is one I made last night :)

I've also been making tic tac holders for people in my office! These are super fun to make and they are sure a hit :)
